While living in SoCal one of the biggest pleasures is to drive up the back way on the 395 to Yosemite. To be able to stretch ones legs and take in one of the most amazingly beautiful places on this earth. Not wanting to be Ansel Adams but still take defining images of the valley is always the challenge for going there. The bar is set pretty high. It's easy to stand where Ansel stood, but good luck making a statement better than he did.
With that the Wawona Tunnel pull out is always a place to try your hand at making an image like Ansel of the entire valley ... and most of the time come away with nothing more than a snap.
Happy the dachshund decided to be a part of the shot.
